Cambria Hebert is a bestselling novelist of more than fifty titles. She went to college for a bachelor’s degree, couldn’t pick a major, and ended up with a degree in cosmetology. So rest assured her characters will always have good hair.
Besides writing, Cambria loves a pumpkin spice latte, staying up late, sleeping in, and watching K drama until her eyes won’t stay open. She considers math human torture and has an irrational fear of chickens (yes, chickens). You can often find her running on the treadmill (she’d rather be eating a donut), painting her toenails (because she bites her fingernails), or walking her chihuahuas (the real bosses of the house).
Cambria has written in many genres, including new adult, sports romance, male/male romance, sci-fi, thriller, suspense, contemporary romance, and young adult. Many of her titles have been translated into foreign languages and have been the recipients of multiple awards.
4☆ Whisper was a really good read, filled with everything a good book needs. First off, I love Prism, and I want to give him a big hug! He is such a sweet and caring guy who has such a sad past. I already thought he was a great guy, but as I learned more about him that just grew tenfold. He has been through so much in his life and continues to do so on a daily basis with misophonia, tinnitus, and his anxiety. Each time I learned something new, I wanted to jump into the book, give him a hug, and tell him it was going to be okay. He deserves so much better than what he’s been through. He doesn’t see it, be he’s strong. He’s overcome so much in his life and he continues to do so. I loved reading about his journey and seeing how much he grew. He finally understands that he deserves to be happy and loved and that his past and his disability does not define him. I am so happy that he found Arsen! Arsen is exactly what he needs in a partner. He is kind, caring, protective, and even dominant. I was surprised at times how much he pushed Prism, but I think that’s what Prism actually needed. He sometimes needed to be pushed out of his comfort zone so he could see that there are many people around him that care and want to know more about him. They make a really cute couple, and I loved seeing them happy, especially Prism. The storyline was really interesting as well. I love how all the books in this series have a suspense element to them. It keeps things interesting. It was another great, and well written book that I thoroughly enjoyed! I’m sad that there’s only one book left in this series, I’m really going to miss this entertaining bunch of swimmers and their partners. I’m definitely intrigued by Coach getting a book, I’m interested to see how his story will turn out. *I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.*
